Our client, a logistics company, is looking for an Accounting & Admin Manager to manage core accounting functions such as financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and monthly closings. The role also involves overseeing weekly trucking reports and handling administrative matters within the company.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all core accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxation.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Manage and monitor weekly trucking reports.
- Perform monthly closings and generate financial reports.
- Prepare annual budgets and manage budgetary controls.
- Act as the key contact for tax matters and external audits.
- Evaluate current accounting and admin practices, suggesting and implementing improvements.
- Lead and develop the accounting and admin team, set performance goals, and provide training and support.
- Serve as the key point of contact for all administrative matters.
