Job Summary:

Involved in the recording and classifying of financial data, reconciling
accounts, cost management, conducting financial analysis and assisting in
budgeting and forecasting process.

DUTIES
& RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 
  Prepare and present
  financial records, including general ledger accounts and monthly
  management accounts.
• 
  Detailed financial analysis
  of actuals against forecast and budget
• 
  Processing of recurring and
  non-recurring journal entries and other general ledger processing as
  necessary.
• 
  Perform month end close
  processes, support global shared services as necessary.
• 
  Perform reviews of gross
  profit and prepare exception reporting, follow up on queries with
  operational teams.
• 
  Work with operational teams
  to prepare budgets and forecasts.
• 
  Prepare balance sheet
  reconciliations, follow up and close reconciling variances.
• 
  Review intercompany
  transactions and resolve validations and queries in a timely manner.
• 
  Prepare payment proposals in
  line with payment terms.
• 
  Follow up on outstanding
  debtors.
• 
  Prepare weekly cash flow
  forecasts.
• 
  Upload bank statements and
  prepare bank reconciliations.
• 
  Maintain fixed asset
  register.
• 
  Assist in the preparation of
  financial statements.
• 
  Prepare vat, income tax,
  withholding tax and other relevant country specific tax reporting and
  related reconciliations.
• 
  Prepare month end Hyperion
  reporting packs.
• 
  Support in the internal and
  external audit process.

Responsible for the management and

Perform other related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

• 
  Bachelor of Commerce-Finance degree
• 
  Minimum 2-3 years of experience directly related to the
  duties and responsibilities specified.
• 
  Experience in the Clearing and Forwarding environment
  .
• 
  Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint
• 
  Proficient Hyperion (HFM) knowledge
• 
  Proficient Oracle and/ or SAP knowledge
