About the role

1856 Family Office is looking for an experienced Accountant who wants to combine qualified accounting with close client relationships and responsibility for complex corporate and ownership structures. In this broad and independent role, you will manage your own client portfolio while contributing to the continued development of our entrepreneurial team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Take end-to-end responsibility for ongoing bookkeeping, accounting and financial administration for your clients
• Prepare year-end closings, annual reports and income tax returns in accordance with K2 and K3
• Develop budgets, forecasts and cash-flow plans, and provide clients with clear financial insights
• Prepare financial reports, agreements and other client documentation
• Manage payroll administration and related reporting
• Build trusted client relationships and coordinate client-related administrative matters across 1856 Family Office and SEB

To thrive in this role, we believe you have

• The ability to take full ownership of your work, independently manage a client portfolio and collaborate closely with colleagues
• A service-minded, structured and proactive approach, combined with sound judgement and high integrity
• An academic degree in economics with an accounting focus or similar
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably from an accounting firm and/or involving financial or holding companies
• The ability to independently prepare year-end closings and annual reports in accordance with K2 and K3
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
• Experience in tax matters and complex corporate or ownership structures is highly advantageous
