Job Description

Finance is more than just numbers and balance sheets. It is a key partner to all other business areas, supporting them in planning, managing, and optimizing business processes. The department's main focus is on analyzing, evaluating, and presenting financial performance. A passion for finance and teamwork is at the forefront, offering excellent development opportunities.

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

  • Execute monthly general ledger (GL) accounting activities, including posting of manual journal entries, maintaining accounts, and processing accruals.
  • Independently prepare and post recurring and non-recurring journal entries, ensuring proper supporting documentation and alignment with accounting policies.
  • Perform asset accounting activities such as asset creation, capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and scrapping in compliance with accounting policies.
  • Manage and reconcile bank statements, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies
  • Coordinate and perform period-end and month-end closing activities in collaboration with local and global finance teams
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations
  • Prepare documentation and provide necessary financial data and support to external auditors during audits.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve desktop procedures and process documentation to ensure operational consistency and compliance.

This is what you bring to us:

  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a shared service environment.
  • College degree in Business Administration or equivalent accounting qualification.
  • Working experience with SAP-FI.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS office tools (MS Outlook and Excel).
  • Excellent English skills, one further European language is desirable.
  • Communication skills and cooperative mindset and a high level of accountability and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Critical Thinking to analyze complex topics
  • Team player with a good sense of different company/ country cultures.
