Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Accountant (Payroll).
The primary function of this role is to ensure the accurate calculation, auditing, and reporting of assigned payroll. This position is responsible for performing first-level audit reviews of payroll transactions. It also involves generating supporting documentation for the calculation of accrued benefits for terminated employees. Supports reports generation, data entry and payment generations (checks)
Job Responsibilities
This role will be responsible to support payroll processes based on Eaton policies and local labor regulations at Dom. Rep.. It will be responsible to data entry, calculate and processes based on salary and benefits approved for the employees assigned.
Qualifications
Education level required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, industrial Engineering, Finance, Economics or related areas
Years and area of experience required
Minimun 1 year of experience in accounting area
Technical knowledge
Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills (able to create pivot tables). Prefer: PBI
English Language Skills: Intermediate to advanced level of English.
Knowledge of Regulatory Laws of the Dominican Republic: Labor laws related to payroll, taxes, etc.
Preferred: Knowledge of Oracle and SPN software.
