Private Institution National Laboratory Astana

The main objectives of the NLA are to conduct multidisciplinary basic and/or applied scientific research in the life sciences, energy, interdisciplinary and other fields of science, as well as activities to establish scientific laboratory, experimental bases, centers, institutes for the development and implementation of scientific, scientific and technical, educational programs and training of specialists.

- Maintaining accounting and tax accounting;

- registration of business transactions;

- maintaining cash operations, control over cash discipline;

- calculation and accrual of wages for employees, accrual of benefits, holiday pay, travelling allowances, sick pay;

- calculation and payment of insurance contributions for employees;

- personnel accounting;

- preparation and sending of reports on the organisation and employees;

- in agreement with the manager - payment of taxes and fees, mutual settlements with counterparties;

- generation of financial report;

- financial analysis and proposal on the distribution of the company's finances;

- selection of accounting policy, form of accounting, selection of accounting programmes and services.

Qualifications

Higher economic, financial or accounting education. Work experience - at least 5 years in the specialty.

-possession of a certificate of professional accountant of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

-innate or acquired character traits that contribute to the successful performance of the employee's job duties;

Additional Information

- Ability to work with Word, Excel, 1C Enterprise 8, tax programmes;

- knowledge of accounting and tax legislation;

- Legislative and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of accounting, methodological, and other materials from higher, financial, and control-audit bodies on the accounting and reporting, as well as those related to the economic and financial activities of the organization;

- Civil, financial, tax, administrative, economic, and labor legislation;

- The basics of pension legislation;

- Applied programs for tax reporting and accounting reports;

- Advanced domestic and international practices in improving the organization of accounting, international and national financial reporting standards;

- Financial reporting depository;

- Organization of production, labor, and management;

- Basics of production technology;

- Market-based economic methods;

- Other essential professional knowledge and competencies required for performing the functional duties of this position;

- Fluency in Kazakh and Russian languages, with English proficiency considered beneficial.
