Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with
International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
.
Ensure timely and accurate filing of statutory taxes, including
VAT, PAYE, and Corporate Tax
, in compliance with
Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
regulations.
Formulate, implement, and review financial and accounting policies and procedures.
Prepare and submit final accounts and management reports.
Advise management on the company’s financial performance, risks, and overall financial health.
Develop, implement, and monitor internal financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
Coordinate and support internal and external audits by providing documentation, schedules, and explanations as required.
Ensure adherence to ethical standards, confidentiality, and professional conduct at all times.
CPA (K)
qualification is mandatory.
Minimum of
3 years’ relevant work experience
in a similar accounting role within a fast-paced or busy work environment.
Proficiency in
Microsoft Office
and other relevant business/accounting software.
