As an Accountant (m/f/d), you will act as the local representative of the Group Finance Department, ensuring compliance with Group-wide policies and contributing to the further development (e.g., optimization and automation) of the Group’s financial

ERP systems, management systems, policies, processes, and procedures. In addition, you will also be responsible for:

Your Responsibilities

• Supporting the local business organization with accounting and payroll matters, as well as assisting local management as needed with financial and accounting issues

• Providing local information to the Group Finance Department (e.g., details on the budget, cash flow, etc.)

• Processing portions of the annual financial statements and the audit process in accordance with Group processes and requirements to ensure accurate and complete accounting figures at all time

• Ensuring accurate invoicing, payment processing, and tracking of incoming and outgoing invoices

• Assisting with the order entry process and performing order entries and required data entries in accordance with

• agreed-upon procedures

• Maintaining accurate communication with social security agencies, tax authorities, and government agencies

• Providing professional support during internal and external audits

Your Profile:

You have completed a business administration apprenticeship, ideally with a focus on finance, accounting, or a degree in economics.

You also possess the following qualifications:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in accounting, financial reporting, or auditing

• Experience managing the entire accounting process.

• Knowledge in the areas of process management, digitalization, or financial transformation is a plus

• A strong affinity for IT; experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus

• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills

• Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work

• A hands-on mindset, initiative, and a passion for actively shaping processes

• Enjoyment of working in a cross-border finance department that also serves companies outside of Austria

Your work location: Graz and the surrounding area (Austria); remote work is possible by arrangement

Start date: Upon agreement

Contract type: Permanent employment

Salary range: The minimum gross annual salary for this position is €45,738, in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement (ST1 – Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in Automatic Data Processing and Information Technology Companies). In line with the responsibilities of the position, we offer an annual gross salary ranging from €52,000 to €60,000, depending on your qualifications and experience.
