Our client is a payment service provider offering a variety of solutions including open banking payments, alternative payment methods, card payments, card payouts, mobile commerce payments, and e-wallets. They serve businesses in high-growth and high-risk industries such as e-commerce, iGaming, and fintech, facilitating secure and efficient digital asset transfers. The company offers streamlined APIs, SDKs, and no-code integration options for implementing full-scale payment systems.

This is an exciting opportunity to manage complex financial operations in a fintech environment. You will be responsible for handling multi-currency payroll, financial reporting, and compliance, while driving process improvements and enhancing internal controls. This role offers a unique chance to have a measurable impact on the company's financial operations and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage payroll operations for 50+ contractors across multiple currencies, including FX conversions and crypto payroll processing.
• Handle invoice validation, vendor management, and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Perform reconciliations, month-end closing activities, and support preparation of financial reports.
• Support budgeting processes, monitor expenses, and identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Ensure accounting compliance, support VAT/tax processes, and coordinate with auditors.
• Drive accounting process improvements and support automation initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong accounting knowledge with a solid understanding of IFRS/GAAP and corporate tax principles.
• Experience with accounting platforms and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with multi-currency accounting and HRIS systems.
• Experience working with auditors and managing financial risk.
• Strong background in expense validation and financial data accuracy.
• Languages: English, Russian.
• Experience in fintech.
