Job title: Accountant Internship

Paid Transportation

Internship duration: 450 hours

Internship schedule: Full-time from Monday to Friday (8.00 AM - 5.00 PM)

Organization Overview: shareQ ( www.shareq.org) is a Lebanese non-profit organization launched by a group of dedicated young professionals in 2012. shareQ is dedicated to innovating sustainable social projects and implementing them in collaboration with more than 30 NGOs. shareQ has currently two main departments, ProAbled ( www.proabled.com) and M Social Catering ( www.msocialcatering.com).

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately and promptly.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations regularly.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including the preparation of financial reports.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
• Collaborate with the Financial Officer and other team members to improve accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Handle any additional accounting or administrative tasks as assigned by the finance team.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 02 years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Visual Dolphin).
• Languages: Fluent in Arabic, and English (French is a plus)
