Make an impact with our Indirect Tax team as an Accountant. This diverse team of professionals delivers customized tax strategies within a complex and dynamic regulatory framework. As a trusted advisor, you’ll identify benefit entitlements and develop customized federal and local indirect tax strategies that minimize clients’ tax liability while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multiple client-facing engagement teams to deliver Indirect Tax compliance and planning services.
• Develop and apply a strong understanding of Indirect Tax legislation, including GST/HST and PST.
• Conduct research on client-specific Indirect Tax issues and support various mandates.
• Communicate effectively with clients and government agencies to resolve Indirect Tax matters.
• Assist in preparing high-quality deliverables that meet client expectations and firm standards.
• Contribute to process improvements by generating new ideas and approaches.
• Maintain flexibility to travel as required by client engagements.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Completion of a degree in Accounting or Business.
• Completion of, or progress toward, a CPA designation.
• Prior experience in tax, accounting, or a related field.
• Strong customer service or client service background.

The annual salary range for this position is $50,000 - $75,000
