Job Title: Accountant

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join a dynamic internal finance team within a growing group of companies. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys contributing to the improvement of financial operations across various entities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular bank, cashbook, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledgers and ensure timely and accurate reconciliations.
• Support daily accounting operations across multiple companies within the group.
• Provide insights and suggestions to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Assist with audit preparations and respond to external audit queries.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to align financial practices.
• Support the Finance Manager and assist with ad hoc projects as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• A degree in Accountancy or currently pursuing ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets, with strong analytical skills.
• High attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Experience with Xero is an advantage; training will be provided if needed.
• Organised, reliable, and proactive in planning and task execution.
