The Opportunity

The thing you look forward to most about going out with friends for dinner is calculating how much everyone owes and how much to tip (of course, doing it all in your head). We’re looking for a top-notch accountant with a love of all things financial to join our finance team to support business leaders and stakeholders by providing actionable and reliable financial information and reports.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Reporting to the Manager, Finance you will support internal business units by preparing journal entries, compiling financial statements and operational reports, as well as completing analysis for new business initiatives.
• Complete account reconciliations and resolve accounting issues in a timely manner.
• Prepare variance analysis for presentation to the Controller and to business units..
• Verify, analyze, and cross reference financial data, statements, and reports as required.
• Liaise with internal staff, front-line agents, and management to resolve accounting issues and entries.
• Ensure that all processing and reporting deadlines are consistently met.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Table

• You have a post-secondary degree in accounting.
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
• You have at least 4 years of professional accounting experience under your belt with a progressive level of responsibility.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and all Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• You have exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
