Job Description

The Accountant II will support the accounting team by performing routine accounting functions and assisting with the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. This role is ideal for an accountant looking to build a strong foundation in Intercompany accounting, banking, reconciliations, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily processing of I/C Invoices, management of I/C statements, and month end processes
  • Daily processing of Banking transactions for Grove US LLC
  • Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Close – Journal entries, account reconciliations and analysis
  • Provide Audit Support & SOX Controls for Banking, AR and AP

Safety:

Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards, perform job functions in a safe manner, wear all PPE required by Company Policy where required, know & follow established job specific and facility wide safety & health procedures and rules, participate in safety and health training & demonstrate competency based on training received, and bring safety and health issues, unsafe acts, or safety suggestions to attention of management or correct those you can.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s degree in accounting or business with minimum 2 years experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting
  • Experience in manufacturing environment
  • 2-4 Years of accounting experience preferred

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams & Outlook
  • Basic Understanding of accounting principles and GAAP
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Baan, Infor, SAP, Oracle a plus
  • Strong Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively
