Job Description

You will be responsible for supporting the company’s general ledger, statutory and management reporting activities, ensuring accurate accounting records, timely closing and proper reconciliation of accounts.

You will also be involved in key finance activities such as annual budgeting, GST and tax reporting, monthly bank reconciliations and other accounting-related duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining the General Ledger and ensuring accounting records are accurate and up to date.
• Prepare audit schedules and support internal and external audit requirements.
• Perform reconciliation of control accounts and follow up on outstanding items.
• Prepare monthly management financial reports and analysis
• Support annual budgeting exercises, including collation and preparation of financial data.
• Assist in GST and tax reporting matters.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting policies and standards and supports implementation of new Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

• Handle other ad-hoc duties and projects as required.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Preferably at least 2 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in an MNC environment, or experience in Big 4 audit firms
• Good understanding of accounting principles, SFRS(I) standards, and relevant regulations, with a willingness to deepen expertise.
• Good computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Financial System will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Good team player with a positive work attitude.
• Able to work independently and perform well under pressure.
