Position: Accountant - Emiratisation (UAE National)

Job Description:

As an Accountant - Emiratisation, you will be responsible for managing the financial activities of the company and ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. You will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and providing valuable insights to the management team. Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Prepare and maintain financial statements, budgets, and cash flow projections
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
• Monitor and analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations
• Conduct regular audits to identify any discrepancies or errors
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and stakeholders
• Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement financial strategies
• Keep up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and legislation
• Train and mentor junior accounting staff
• Participate in the development and implementation of financial systems and processes
• Handle any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the management team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Familiarity with local tax laws and regulations
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
