Job Description

Position: Accountant - Emiratisation (UAE National)

As an Accountant - Emiratisation, you will be responsible for managing the financial activities of the company and ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. You will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and providing valuable insights to the management team. Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

- Prepare and maintain financial statements, budgets, and cash flow projections

- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes

- Monitor and analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement

- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations

- Conduct regular audits to identify any discrepancies or errors

- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and stakeholders

- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement financial strategies

- Keep up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and legislation

- Train and mentor junior accounting staff

- Participate in the development and implementation of financial systems and processes

- Handle any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the management team.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role

- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices

- Familiarity with local tax laws and regulations

- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office applications

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Fluent in English and Arabic.
