Position Type: Full-Time (More than 30 hours a week)

Located just west of Atlanta, Chapel Hills Golf Club and Mirror Lake Golf Club together create a unique, semi-private club experience centered around golf, community, and lifestyle. Members enjoy access to 54 holes of championship golf across two distinct properties, along with dining, swimming, racquet sports, and a full calendar of social events for families and individuals alike. The clubs are known for their welcoming atmosphere, scenic views, and vibrant member community, offering a balance of recreation and connection in a relaxed, resort-style setting.
We are currently seeking an Accountant to support both clubs, with the position primarily based at Mirror Lake Golf Club. This role will play a key part in managing financial operations across the two properties, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and strong financial performance while contributing to the overall success of the club experience.
Primary responsibilities include:
Accounting:
- Responsible for doing the daily club deposit and depositing it into the bank.
- Collects all club receivables and processes payables (in accordance with the Bobby Jones Links standards).
- Ensures that all end of month reporting is accurate and forwards to the Bobby Jones Links Accounting team.
- Is responsible for member billing and meets with members should there be any billing disputes.
- Manages all office equipment including copiers, printers, and postage machines.
- Processes COD payments.
- Assists GM with team member onboarding process.
- Assists Support Center with obtaining information or data as requested.
- Maintains necessary procedures for confidentiality relating to club and employee issues.
- Safeguards all funds in bank accounts; assures that revenues are properly and correctly deposited and supervises the drawing of all checks.
- Prepares the daily close out and postings in the point of sales system.
- Maintaining accurate membership counts and billing status.
- Coordination with collection agencies, if necessary.
Human Resources:
- Enters all new employees into Paycom and makes sure that they have competed their new employee checklist in a timely manner.
- Ensures every new accounting team member receives a written job description.
- Follows all State, Federal, and Bobby Jones Links rules in regard to human resources including such key policies as hiring and firing, discrimination, and harassment.
- Maintain an organized record of employee files and E-Verifications.
- Completes payroll biweekly.

- The ability to provide accurate billing and collection on time from members and other clients.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Moderate noise level in the work environment.
