Job Description

We are looking for Accountant who will support General Financial Accounting Team incl. tasks in the area of asset management and general ledger.

This is what your typical everyday life looks like:

• Prepare and post transactions for national and international group entities within the Shared Service Center for Financial Accounting across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas, ensuring compliance with IFRS, local GAAP and tax regulations.
• Collaborate on daily operations and assist in preparing monthly financial statements
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and monitor GR/IR accounts across subsidiaries,
• Support asset management team incl. month-end closing activities,
• Execute bank data related tasks,

Skills you need for the role:

• Knowledge of IFRS accounting; familiarity with German GAAP (HGB) and optionally US and Australian GAAP,
• Process understanding in financial accounting and reporting,
• Professional experience in the accounting department of an international company, especially in the area of financial accounting and asset management,
• Proficiency in German and English min. B2 (C1 is a plus),
• Good analytical and organizational skills,
• Knowledge of the SAP system is a plus.
