Assist Manager/ Assistant Manager in performing daily accounting and bookkeeping functions

Responsibilities

• Perform accounting and bookkeeping functions, including preparation of journal inputs, accounting schedule, monthly JV report, tax computation, etc.
• Prepare reconciliation, breakdowns, and financial analysis for month-end and year-end closing
• Deliver the statutory financial statements and tax documents of subsidiaries
• Collaborate with internal business units on both financial and operational matters
• Liaise with auditors and other professionals for external audit, tax compliance and other regulatory or compliance requirement
• Assist in handling ad-hoc assignments/projects as required

Requirements

• Higher diploma in Accountancy / Business Administration or equivalent background in related fields
• Minimum 3 years of experience in handling full sets of accounts
• Good understanding of HKFRS and experience in tax compliance in HK
• Exposure in property industry is highly preferred
• Attention to details and accuracy
• Work independently under minimal guidance, self-motivated, capable to handle tight timeline
• Ability to handle multi-tasks and respond effectively to ad-hoc requests
• Competence in written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
• Well versed in MS Office and experience in using SAP is an advantage
