We are seeking an Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting, payroll, administrative for the business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, staying organized, and supporting both financial operations and employee processes in a fast-paced service and construction environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience with accounting and office administration, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Key Deliverables

• Own the month end accounting close
• Monthly financial statements prepared in accordance with GAAP and delivered accurately and timely

Position Responsibilities

• Ensure accounting of month-end close responsibilities are completed timely; ensure financial statement integrity, including balance sheet account reconciliations
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to address AP/AR-related inquiries and discrepancies
• Ensure proper job costing of projects and service work according to GAAP
• Prepare WIP schedule
• Support financial audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations and coordinating with external auditors to ensure successful engagement
• Support team with key strategic and process improvement initiatives including new financial technology implementation
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, or HR support experience
• Experience with AP, AR, reconciliations, payroll, and administrative processes
• Certified payroll experience is a plus
• Construction or service industry experience preferred
• Experience with Viewpoint Spectrum, Simpro, or similar ERP systems preferred
• Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and customer service mindset
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: $75-90k, based on experience
