Working Hours: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our client's Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, supporting financial reporting, monitoring costs, and ensuring smooth financial processes across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting records, vouchers, ledgers, and bank reconciliations.
• Process supplier payments related to fabric, accessories, stitching, printing, dyeing, and packaging.
• Prepare customer invoices and monitor receivables from retailers, distributors, and clients.
• Track production costs, including raw materials, labor, wastage, and manufacturing expenses.
• Manage petty cash, employee reimbursements, and operational expenses.
• Maintain financial records related to inventory, including fabric, finished garments, and accessories.
• Assist in preparing monthly P&L statements, financial reports, and cash-flow summaries
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and Sales teams to verify financial documentation.
• Support tax deductions, compliance documentation, and audit activities.
• Monitor budgets, identify cost variations, and report unusual expenses to management.
• Assist in improving financial processes and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance
• Partially qualified CMA / ACCA candidates will also be considered.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience in the Fashion or Textile industry will be highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting operations, reconciliations, financial documentation, and cost tracking.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
