Our client – Edenred Finance (formerly EBV Finance) stands as one of Europe’s top tax refund providers, renowned for its competence and trusted service across Europe. As a part of the Edenred Group, they're positioned to set new standards in financial solutions for cross-border transportation businesses, backed by extensive industry influence and global expertise.

We are currently looking for an Accountant to join the Accounting team and contribute to payroll administration and broader accounting activities in an international environment.

• Manage monthly payroll, including salaries, bonuses, benefits, taxes and social insurance
• Handle employment/offboarding documentation, working time, leave and absence administration
• Prepare payroll reports and declarations and ensure compliance with Lithuanian legislation
• Reconcile payroll data and support month-end closing
• Ensure correct accounting of payroll costs, accruals and related controls
• Support budgeting, audits and capitalization processes
• Support accounting routines, including reconciliations, tax controls and documentation
• Monitor accounting activities of international subsidiaries and cooperate with international Finance teams
• Prepare financial reports and contribute to process improvement initiatives

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in payroll administration, payroll accounting or a broader accounting role
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
• Strong knowledge of Lithuanian payroll, labor law and taxation
• Good understanding of accounting principles beyond payroll
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with payroll/accounting systems
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and a solution-oriented mindset
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and proactively solve problems
• Good command of Lithuanian and English

Would be an advantage:

• Experience with AP, AR, GL, reconciliations or reporting
• Experience in an international accounting environment
• Experience with internal or external audits
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision)
