Job Information


Job Responsibilities:
  • Support month-end closing activities, ensuring financial records are complete, accurate and reported on a timely basis.
  • Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, schedules and analyses to support management reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and submit Group Reporting packages in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Review balance sheet schedules and investigate accounting variances, unusual transactions and reporting issues.
  • Support fixed asset accounting, capital expenditure monitoring and related reporting activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements and support annual audits and tax compliance requirements.
  • Perform P&L, cost and expense variance analysis, and provide meaningful insights to support business performance monitoring.
  • Collaborate closely with internal finance teams and cross-functional stakeholders to support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and performance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with Group policies, accounting standards and internal control requirements.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, system enhancement projects and finance transformation activities.
  • Handle ad hoc assignments and projects as required.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in accounting or audit.
  • Professional qualification (e.g. HKICPA, ACCA or equivalent), or progress towards qualification, will be an advantage.
  • Prior experience in the F&B, Retail or FMCG industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of HKFRS / IFRS and statutory reporting requirements is preferred.
  • Exposure to Group reporting or consolidation systems (e.g. Tagetik, Hyperion/HFM) is an advantage.
  • Experience with ERP systems; exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills with experience in financial reporting, data analysis and reconciliation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
