Where You'll Make a Difference

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP).
• Prepare and submit financial reporting packages in line with IFF corporate requirements and reporting deadlines.
• Support statutory reporting activities, including reconciliation between US GAAP and local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (Local GAAP).
• Coordinate annual external audit activities and act as a key contact for auditors.
• Prepare and review tax-related filings, including Value Added Tax (VAT), corporate income tax returns, and other indirect tax declarations where applicable.
• Support internal audit activities and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls and company policies.
• Assist with tax audits, regulatory reviews, and government inspections as required.
• Partner closely with the Accounting Supervisor, Country Controller, and Regional Controllership teams to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.
• Contribute to process improvements, standardization initiatives, and the maintenance of a strong control environment.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience in a multinational company, Shared Service Center, or finance organization.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Turkish language proficiency is required.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and statutory requirements.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, local GAAP, tax regulations, and statutory reporting principles.
• Strong systems aptitude with experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms and financial applications.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Commitment to accuracy, compliance, business ethics, and a strong control environment.

How Would You Stand Out?

• Professional accounting qualification or certification such as ACCA, CIMA, CMA, or equivalent.
• Experience supporting external audits, tax audits, or SOX compliance programs.
• Experience working in a Global Business Services (GBS) or Shared Service Center (SSC) environment.
