The Salvation Army is hiring a detail oriented Accountant to support the financial integrity and daily accounting operations of the Quincy Area Command. This role works closely with the Finance Director and is responsible for cash management, revenue recognition, general ledger activity, and bank reconciliations across multiple programs, including the Kroc Center.

Position Details:
Employment Type: Full-time exempt, 40 hours/week
Pay Range: $45,860 to $56,927 per hour, commensurate with education and experience
The Accountant supports core nonprofit accounting functions, with a focus on cash receipts, deposits, journal entries, and month end close activities. This position ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with internal controls, and audit readiness while contributing to overall finance operations.
