RSGx is a well-established management and engineering consultancy with a diverse portfolio of projects spanning Infrastructure, Mining, Oil & Gas, and Telecommunications. Our multidisciplinary expertise covers design, construction, commissioning, operations, and maintenance, allowing us to deliver exceptional service to clients across national and international markets.

We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing organization supporting our Australian financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit claims to clients by coordinating with project managers.
• Review financial transactions, audit documents, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Generate monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, internal management reports, and cashflow statements.
• Compile and analyze account information to create ad-hoc financial reports that assist project managers in evaluating project performance.
• Manage the general ledger, oversee monthly balance sheet, banking, and inter-company reconciliations.
• Post monthly accrual journals and process payroll journals (weekly, fortnightly, and monthly).
• Support process improvement and system enhancement initiatives.
• Assist in the preparation of year-end statutory accounts.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 3-6 years’ experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar role.
• Relevant accounting or bookkeeping qualifications.
• Proficiency in Xero and Procore is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
