Role Context - About The Team:
Processing service requests for PR to PO assisting in improving efficiency of operations and to meet the agreed service levels.
Performing monthly reconciliations of the income collected with income expected within agreed timeline and working with stakeholders to resolve the open reconciling items on timely manner.
Processing vendor amendments, raising creation requests, and ensuring vendor screening activities are completed in a timely manner in line with agreed service levels. Additionally, providing support during May–June country exam sessions as required
Role purpose – The job:
Perform PO Creation for globe in adherence to P2P process in SAP as per agreed SLA, providing timely, accurate and reliable accounting support for creation of PO as per agreed SLA Contribute to the resolution of assigned regional/functional processing requests and incidents relating to PO Creation activities. Along with the PO Creation activities, the purpose of this role is to manage the process of Income Reconcilers for the income-generating activities of the British Council. The role holder will ensure that Income reconciliations of the countries are completed as per the agreed process and any open items/risks are highlighted to develop mitigation plans. The role will also work with other teams to automate the recognition and reconciliation process to improve accuracy and timely completion of the reconciliations, meeting the agreed standards
The role profile also includes vendor screening activities, raising vendor creation requests through the portal, supporting vendor creation and amendment, conducting quality reviews of purchase orders, and supporting intercompany PO creation.
Additionally, certain ad hoc activities may be assigned in line with the requirements during the May–June period, particularly in support of country exam sessions.
