DESCRIPTION

This position is an ideal opportunity for an experienced accountant to gain further development in the areas of financial accounting and reporting. The position requires fundamental knowledge of accounting functions and flexibility combined with accuracy and a sound practical approach.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED

The accountant will report directly to the Financial Controller.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

  • Expose strong responsibility for the integrity and management of accounting ledgers.

  • Execute monthly / quarterly / annual closing based on US GAAP.

  • Perform daily cash application and credit limit control.

  • Perform Bank reconciliations, Balance sheet analysis, P&L Analysis, Fixed Asset accounting, Inter-company reconciliations as required.

  • Assist local Statutory accounts booking, preparation of corporate tax filing and VAT returns.

  • Assist internal control, policy, and process standardization with internal auditors.

  • Prepare monthly bookings for deferred service revenue.

  • Corroborate with Genpact team to facilitate smooth monthly closing.

  • Any other duties as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Accounting degree or at least 3 years relevant experience.

  • English language skills (written and preferably also spoken)

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Good interpersonal skills with experience of working in a diverse multi-national company environment.

  • U.S. GAAP and JGAAP knowledge are an advantage.

  • Experience of Oracle and Concur are an advantage.

  • Experience of Power BI Report / Power Query are an advantage.
