Key Responsibilities

Commission-Related Tasks

Commission-related tasks are in scope for our Leasing and Capital Markets business lines, which are JLL’s key business lines for transaction business. You will collaborate closely with the Commission Center of Excellence (CoE) newly established from May 2026, and the FP&A team who is responsible for plan/actual analysis and communication to business lines.

· Commission Calculation Work with the Dalian shared service team, CoE, FP&A, HR to calculate commission accurately.

· Commission Accrual Review Prepare and post monthly US-GAAP commission accrual journals based on broker revenue, salary, and other relevant drivers. Ensure data consistency with the CRM system used for pipeline management.

· Reconciliation Partner with FP&A and CoE to reconcile differences between commission accruals and actual payments, including balance sheet account settlement and reviews.

· System Implementation Participate in the global PeopleSoft (Oracle) commission module implementation project. Attend meetings and actively engage with the global project team and CoE and other stakeholders to ensure successful rollout.

· Process Improvement Identify and propose enhancements to the commission module and processes. Escalate issues to stakeholders as appropriate.

Other Accounting Tasks

· Support annual and semi-annual J-GAAP closing activities, including journal preparation and financial statement creation and review.

· Based on individual skillsets, contribute to global and local projects focused on process improvements, operational excellence, and new initiatives.

· Participate in weekly and bi-weekly team meetings to share information and collaborate on process improvements.

Required Qualifications

Experience and Knowledge:

· Minimum 3 years of accounting experience

· Native Japanese proficiency

· Business-level English proficiency

· Experience in participating in system implementation projects or process improvement initiatives

· Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Competencies:

· Proactive attitude toward learning and proposing improvements.

· Strong communication skills, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing approaches and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory)

· Nissho Bookkeeping Certification (Grade 2 or higher)

· Advanced business English proficiency (TOEIC score 800 or above)

· Experience in the real estate industry

· Experience working in a foreign-capital company in Japan
