Job Description


Our client is highly experienced in delivering professional supply solutions., installing, and supporting laboratory equipment in the Middle East and Africa. They are looking to hire
an
Accountant in Abuja.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including bookkeeping, reconciliation, and financial reporting.

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

  • Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.

  • Handle manual accounting processes where required.

  • Manage and monitor store operations, stock records, and inventory control.

  • Conduct stock reconciliations and ensure inventory accuracy.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budget tracking.

  • Utilize accounting software (preferably Zoho) for accounting and financial management tasks.

  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records using digital and cloud-based storage systems.

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders on finance-related matters.

  • Support audits, tax filings, and statutory compliance activities.

  • Perform any other finance and administrative duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

  • Minimum of 5 – 10 years’ proven experience as an Accountant.

  • Strong knowledge of manual accounting practices is mandatory.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), accounting software (Zoho preferred), email communication, and cloud storage platforms.

  • Experience in stock management and inventory control.

  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and collaborate effectively within a team.

  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

  • Valid driving license is an added advantage.
