Requirements

Role and Responsibilities

Comprehensive Accounting Management
● Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts for all transactions.
● Prepare annual financial statements, including the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss accounts.
● Perform monthly bank reconciliations and thoroughly review ledgers.
● Handle accounting for various company divisions and directors’ accounts.
Statutory Compliance & Audit
● Calculate and ensure timely payment of GST, TDS, Equalisation Levy, and other relevant taxes.
● Prepare and submit statutory returns in collaboration with external consultants.
● Serve as the primary contact for auditors and tax advisors.
● Ensure full adherence to regulatory and financial reporting standards.
Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
● Manage accounts receivable and actively follow up with clients on overdue payments.
● Supervise vendor payments and coordinate expense scheduling.
● Monitor cash flow regularly and provide updates to leadership.
● Assist in financial planning by contributing to budgeting and forecasting activities.
Reporting & Business Support
● Generate monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports offering clear insights on revenue, costs, and profitability.
● Track profitability at both the project and client levels.
● Support leadership in financial decision-making by delivering accurate and timely data.
Operational & Administrative Finance
● Review salary computations and ensure timely payroll processing.
● Evaluate the financial aspects of client and vendor agreements.
● Collaborate closely with HR and Administration teams on financial planning, recruitment budgets, and cost management.

Desired Profile
● 1 to 8 years of practical accounting experience.
● Strong knowledge of Indian taxation and statutory compliance requirements.
● Demonstrated ability to independently manage the entire finance function.
● Exceptional attention to detail with a methodical and process-oriented approach.
● Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
● Proficient in Tally ERP, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
● Previous experience in a marketing or advertising agency is preferred.
● Located in Mumbai or Goa.
● Comfortable working independently in a remote environment with a reliable internet connection.
