The Opportunity

The Associate Accountant is an entry-level professional who applies basic principles of accounting to support the finance department. This role works under close supervision to perform routine accounting tasks, such as preparing journal entries, assisting with reconciliations, and processing transactions, learning the fundamentals of Allegro's financial processes and systems.

What You Will Do

• Contributes to the accuracy of financial records by preparing and posting journal entries to the general ledger.
• Supports the month-end close process by assisting with the reconciliation of basic balance sheet accounts.
• Executes specific accounting tasks by following detailed instructions and established procedures.
• Ensures clear documentation of work for review and integration into the monthly accounting cycle.

What You Will Bring

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree. No prior professional experience is required.
• A degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Basic knowledge of fundamental accounting principles (U.S. GAAP).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative, detail-oriented mindset.
