In this position you will....

…manage end-to-end accounting operations including financial closing, reporting, reconciliations, AP/AR, and tax support while ensuring compliance with K-IFRS/IFRS and local regulations. You will prepare accurate financial reports and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities for both local and Group reporting purposes. You will also support internal and external audits, maintain strong internal controls, and ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements. In addition, you will participate in finance-related projects and process improvement initiatives, including ERP/system enhancements and operational efficiency improvements. This role requires close collaboration with regional Finance teams and cross-functional stakeholders in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

You will be responsible for…

Financial Reporting

• Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with local regulations and group reporting standards (K-GAAP / IFRS)
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
• Assist in management reporting and variance analysis
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports to Group

General Accounting & Reconciliation

• Prepare and post journal entries for all business transactions
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Monitor outstanding balances and support collection/payment activities
• Track expenses and ensure proper documentation

Tax & Compliance

• Support preparation and review of tax filings (e.g., VAT, CIT, WHT) in collaboration with external tax advisors
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and reporting requirements

Audit & Internal Controls

• Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and corporate policies
• Maintain confidentiality and safeguard financial information

Projects & Process Improvement

• Participate in finance-related projects (e.g., system implementation, new entity setup, process enhancements)
• Support ERP/TMS-related initiatives (e.g., Oracle, Kyriba)
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline accounting processes

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with regional and group finance teams on reporting and operational matters
• Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Legal and Operations

You will require the following qualifications and skills

• Fluency in both Korean and English
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience in a corporate environment
• Strong knowledge of K-GAAP and IFRS
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) and finance tools is highly preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with high attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is a plus
• Experience using AI tools (e.g., for data analysis, reporting, or process automation) to enhance efficiency is a plus
