We are seeking a detail‑oriented and driven Accountant to join our Corporate Financial Services team. In this role, you will support core accounting activities, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and provide meaningful analysis to assist decision‑making. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with strong analytical skills, a high standard of accuracy, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Key responsibilities will include

  • Generate and present monthly financial reports to the broader management team.
  • Oversee and evaluate the company’s purchase orders to ensure they adhere to financial compliance and are cost-effective.
  • Assess general accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and resource utilization while ensuring precision.
  • Coordinate the distribution of monitoring results to Division-level management and follow up to ensure engagement.
  • Collaborate with Finance teams for regular reconciliations and to support year-end audit processes.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and reporting procedures.
  • Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and reports for senior management.
  • Identify and apply process improvements to boost efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and accounting.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate completion of annual statutory reporting.
  • Work closely with Treasury, Planning & Performance, and Divisional Finance teams to align with organizational goals and objectives.

Qualifications

About you

  • Strong understanding of financial reporting and reconciliations.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to provide meaningful insights.
  • High attention to detail and strong ownership mindset.
  • Confident communicator, able to work across teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 2–4+ years’ experience in a financial or management accounting role.
  • Degree in Accounting or Commerce.
  • CA/CPA (or working towards) is preferred.

Skills/Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and controls.
  • Experience with monthly close processes and variance analysis.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial management software.
  • Solid expertise in financial and management accounting.
  • High proficiency in financial numeracy and literacy.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
  • Advanced learning agility.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with JDE is advantageous.
