Job Description

We are seeking an Accountant with 2–4 years of professional experience who enjoys a collaborative team environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, detail-oriented financial work. The ideal candidate is highly organized, committed to maintaining strong accounting standards, and eager to continue growing their technical expertise while contributing to the success of the team and organization!

Location: Corporate Office in South Sioux City, Nebraska (hybrid work schedule)

What You’ll Do

• Lead and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes

• Assist in preparation of state filings and regulatory reports.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP)

• Support and coordinate internal and external audit processes

• Partner cross-functionally to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required

• 2-4 years progressive accounting experience required

• Insurance or statutory accounting experience strongly preferred

• Experience with financial statement preparation and audit coordination

• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail

• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts
