Job Description

Obtains financial data for use in maintaining accounting records.

• Maintains all Capital Projects - Logs, CER’s, Disposals & Transfers, Substitutions, and Slot Valuations. Submits information to Fixed Asset Team.
• Accounts Payable – On Demand Checks, Coding and research, etc..
• Preparation of check requests as needed.
• Cage authorized signers for checks (add, remove)
• Receipt and tracking of mail in checks and tickets.
• Generating reports for departments from Oracle for visibility into P&Ls (weekly, monthly, etc.)
• Monthly and Quarterly Audits –Fuelman, Retail outlets, Card and Dice, etc.
• Monthly Inventories – Food and Beverage with preparation of entry and submission to CEBS.
• Support and maintain Horseshoe courtesy guidelines.
• Promote outstanding guest relations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting; preferably as an accountant
• Skilled in Microsoft Word & Excel
• Oracle experience preferred
• Effective communication skills, both verbally and written
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Familiar with data processing.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate work authorization per gaming regulations required.
• Ability to work in a drug free environment and pass a chemical dependency test as required.
