The Illinois Department of Public Health is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as an Accountant within the Accounts Payable section of the Bureau of Finance and Administration. This individual will perform complex accounting and auditing work, prepare and enter vouchers for payment, and maintain internal accounting reports. This individual will also assist with official accounting records for the grant accounts and prepare grant agreement obligations. This position will work in conjunction with other sections within the Bureau of Finance and Administration to ensure payments are made timely and accurately.
