Job Title - Senior Accountant

Report to - FM and Group CFO

Reports to: Finance Manager and Group CFO

Type: Full-time permanent position

An established company based in Windhoek, Namibia, specializing in solar energy solutions. They offer services in solar water heating and photovoltaic systems, helping businesses manage future energy costs and improve profitability through sustainable energy solutions. They are looking for an effective Accountant to join their core team.

• Monthly invoicing
• Monthly Debtors & Creditors recon
• Project cost control & budgeting
• Inventory & stock control
• Monthly bank & loan reconciliations
• Intercompany loan reconciliations
• Work in progress reconciliations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or completed NIPA or ICAN articles, and/or minimum 10 years' accounting experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in construction industry will be of great advantage

10 Years' related experience

Responsibilities

Software

XERO Accounting Software – 3 years of experience (If the incumbent does not have Xero experience, he/she will be required to complete Xero Certification within 3 months of employment).

Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook (solid skills required).

Language

English – Read, Write and Speak (Professional Level Required)

Citizenship

Namibian/Domicile
