The Role: Accountant

You will be responsible for managing the full accounting function across multiple hospitality entities. This role is ideal for an analytical, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and contributing to informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full accounting function, including reconciliations, VAT submissions, and month-end processes

• Prepare accurate financial statements and assist with internal and external audits in line with IFRS/GAAP standards

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to guide management decisions

• Maintain accurate financial records for multiple entities

• Partner with operations and management teams to drive profitability and cost control initiatives

• Ensure compliance with all statutory and tax requirements

About You

• SAIPA or SAICA qualification with 3 to 5 years of accounting experience (hospitality sector experience advantageous)

• Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero or similar

• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently with accuracy and accountability
