Job Description

We are hiring an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities and support financial reporting in a shared services or corporate finance environment The role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reconciliations, supporting monthly close activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in accounting principles, experience in working with ERP systems, and the ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume, time-sensitive setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and other general ledger functions as part of the monthly and year-end closing process.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and audit schedules.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards (e.g., US GAAP).
• Support fixed asset accounting, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany transactions.
• Perform variance analysis and investigate discrepancies across accounts.
• Ensure timely submission of reconciliations and documentation for audits or compliance reviews.
• Work closely with accounts payable, receivable, and tax teams to support end-to-end financial operations.
• Help develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred but not required.
• 24 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in shared services, corporate finance, or BPO settings
• Solid understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting processes.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Willing to work onsite and during night shift hours, as required by operational coverage.
