Accountant
Location: Durban, KwaZulu-Natal
Salary: R30,000 - R45,000 Per Month

Our client is a multinational corporation involved in the retail sector. They are expanding their South African operations and require an accountant to manage financial transactions and ensure regulatory compliance.

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing tax filings, and assisting with audits. The role offers opportunities for growth within the finance department.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain financial statements, ledgers, and account reconciliations.
• Assist with annual audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Prepare and submit VAT, income tax, and other statutory filings.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in accounting.
• Experience with accounting software like SAP or QuickBooks.
