By preparing, analyzing, and validating financial records, you will directly contribute to Intel's operational excellence and success. Your impact will extend beyond accounting, fostering collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors to ensure seamless financial operations and compliance. This is a unique opportunity to grow your expertise and contribute to a global leader in technology.

This role is a key member of Accounting Operations responsible for supporting the execution, coordination, and continuous improvement of close and reporting-related processes. This role combines recurring support for quarter-close activities, management reports / key transaction insights, stakeholder communications, Wdesk and reporting support, control walkthroughs, and balance sheet analytical processes with project work tied to training, process refinement, reporting enhancements, and automation opportunities.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Support recurring quarter-close and off-cycle accounting/reporting activities, ensuring deliverables are completed accurately, timely, and in accordance with established timelines.
  • Coordinate and execute close-related deliverables across multiple stakeholders, while maintaining strong time management and follow-through.
  • Help ensure critical action items, review points, and assigned deliverables are closed on time and with appropriate quality.
  • Support the smooth execution of close activities by working across teams, anticipating issues, and helping resolve questions quickly.
  • Support the preparation, coordination, and continuous improvement of management reports and other key transaction or close insight deliverables.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure deliverables are properly formatted, aligned with reviewer expectations, and supported by clear and relevant commentary.
  • Serve as a key point of coordination for functional area finance teams, helping answer questions, provide feedback, and guide stakeholders through close and reporting expectations.
  • Build strong working relationships with users and stakeholders to improve process clarity, responsiveness, and overall execution.
  • Support External Reporting processes by helping maintain recurring deliverables, uploads, and reporting continuity during periods of transition or changing support models.
  • Support preparation and presentation materials for SOX walkthroughs, process reviews, and related control discussions.
  • Assist with governance activities such as insider listing management, process documentation, and recurring support for controlled reporting environments.
  • Support recurring balance sheet analytical reviews and threshold-based testing, including updates to methodology, categorization, and supporting explanations.
  • Prepare and maintain analyses that support review of key balances, trends, and reporting classifications.
  • Identify opportunities to improve close and reporting processes, particularly in areas involving repeated back-and-forth, unclear ownership, or inefficient communication.
  • Support opportunities to enhance close and reporting processes through AI automation, chatbot capabilities, reporting tools, and digital workflow improvements.
  • Operate with a high level of ownership and independence across recurring deliverables, stakeholder support, and project work.
  • Balance multiple priorities effectively, including close execution, ad hoc stakeholder needs, project work, and process improvement activities.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Masters Degree.
  • Proficiency in accounting principles and standards, including IFRS and US GAAP.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial systems such as SAP S4, SQL querying, and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of SOX compliance and cost accounting policies.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a global organization, with a focus on accounting or audit.
  • Certification in accounting (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, MICPA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience supporting quarter-close activities, reporting deliverables, stakeholder communications, or recurring accounting processes.
  • Proven ability to work independently and in cross-functional, multicultural teams.
  • Experience supporting management reports, key transaction reporting, Workiva, External Reporting, or close-related insight processes.
  • Familiarity with SOX walkthroughs, governance activities, insider listing support, or controlled reporting environments.
  • Experience with balance sheet analytical testing, materiality/threshold analyses, or recurring review processes.
  • Experience working across Functional Area finance teams, External Reporting, controllers, or audit stakeholders.
  • Results-driven mindset with critical thinking skills to challenge the status quo and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Experience managing complex regulatory and financial compliance matters.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor or manufacturing industry processes.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
