The Role and Impact


In this role, you will partner across Finance to ensure high-quality accounting, controllership, and financial reporting for treasury-related activities worldwide. The team supports accurate US GAAP-compliant accounting, strong internal controls, and timely reporting for derivative activities, foreign currency risk management, cash flow hedging, investments, and other treasury operations.
This organization works closely with Corporate Treasury, Accounting Policy, External Reporting, Tax, Corporate Planning, shared service teams, and business finance teams to ensure treasury activities are appropriately reflected in the financial statements and supported by scalable, well-controlled processes.

This role is responsible for supporting the accounting, reporting, controllership, and process execution for cash flow hedging activities. This role focuses on the accounting and operational support associated with derivative instruments designated as cash flow hedges, forecasted transactions, hedge documentation support, effectiveness-related analyses, period-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting deliverables. This role partners closely with Corporate Treasury, Accounting Policy, External Reporting, Tax, Corporate Planning, system teams, shared services, and auditors to ensure treasury accounting is accurate, timely, compliant, and supported by strong internal controls.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Support the accounting and reporting for cash flow hedging programs, including derivatives used to hedge forecasted transactions and other qualifying exposures.
  • Prepare and maintain accounting schedules, journal entries, reconciliations, and roll forwards related to cash flow hedge activity, including derivative fair value changes and related balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist with accounting analyses related to the effective and ineffective portions of hedge activity, accumulated other comprehensive income (AOCI) impacts, and reclassification to earnings.
  • Support the accounting treatment of gains and losses associated with derivatives designated in cash flow hedging relationships.
  • Help ensure accounting outcomes are recorded accurately and timely in accordance with US GAAP, company policy, and internal treasury accounting procedures.
  • Support the preparation, maintenance, and organization of hedge documentation for cash flow hedging relationships.
  • Assist in gathering and validating support for forecasted transactions, hedged risks, hedge designations, and related accounting conclusions.
  • Help maintain documentation supporting ongoing compliance with treasury accounting policies and hedge accounting requirements.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining support for hedge effectiveness-related analyses and ongoing hedge monitoring processes.
  • Help evaluate and document changes in hedging relationships, forecast assumptions, or program execution that may affect accounting outcomes.
  • Support analyses related to hedge designations, redesignations, forecast updates, or changes in expected transaction timing.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining support for hedge effectiveness-related analyses and ongoing hedge monitoring processes.
  • Help evaluate and document changes in hedging relationships, forecast assumptions, or program execution that may affect accounting outcomes.
  • Support analyses related to hedge designations, redesignations, forecast updates, or changes in expected transaction timing.
  • Execute and maintain strong internal controls over treasury accounting processes related to cash flow hedging, including reconciliations, review procedures, and supporting documentation.
  • Support SOX compliance, control testing, audit requests, walkthroughs, and remediation follow-up related to derivative and hedge accounting processes.
  • Work closely with Corporate Treasury, Accounting Policy, External Reporting, Tax, Corporate Planning, business finance teams, and shared service partners to support accurate accounting and reporting outcomes.
  • Help translate treasury transactions and risk management strategies into appropriate accounting and disclosure treatment.
  • Support analysis of cash flow hedge balances, AOCI movements, derivative valuations, and earnings reclassification impacts to help explain period-over-period changes.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and modernize treasury accounting processes related to cash flow hedging.
  • Use AI and digital tools to improve the efficiency, quality, and scalability of recurring activities such as reconciliations, variance analysis, data validation, journal entry support, hedge documentation management, and reporting preparation.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Masters Degree.
  • Proficiency in accounting principles and standards, including IFRS and US GAAP.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial systems such as SAP S4, SQL querying, and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of SOX compliance and cost accounting policies.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a global organization, including experience in treasury accounting, corporate accounting, controllership, financial reporting, or close support.
  • Experience with monthly, quarterly, or annual close activities, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting support.
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP and corporate accounting processes.
  • Certification in accounting (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, MICPA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.


Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience supporting cash flow hedge accounting, treasury accounting, derivative accounting, or foreign currency risk management.
  • Familiarity with treasury accounting concepts such as forecasted transactions, hedge documentation, AOCI accounting, derivative valuations, effectiveness-related analyses, and disclosure support.
  • Experience with SOX controls, audit support, and process documentation.
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA or ECC, treasury management systems, subledgers, or other finance systems supporting treasury operations.
  • Experience with automation, digital transformation, data analytics, AI-enabled workflow tools, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to evaluate recurring accounting work and identify opportunities for AI-assisted transformation while maintaining control rigor and accounting quality.
  • Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and in cross-functional, multicultural teams. Results-driven mindset with critical thinking skills to challenge the status quo and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Experience managing complex regulatory and financial compliance matters.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor or manufacturing industry processes.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
