Job Description


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and experience with financial reporting and analysis. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial records of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  2. Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
  3. Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and other financial reports to support management decision-making.
  4. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, including developing financial models and analyzing trends.
  5. Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency.
  6. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
  7. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance and operations teams, to support business objectives and initiatives.
  8. Assist in internal and external audits, providing documentation and support as needed.
  9. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards, ensuring compliance and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) preferred.
  • Experience in accounting or finance roles is preferred, but candidates with relevant qualifications or internship experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • This is a full-time position based in Singapore.
