We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our growing EMEA Finance Team This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting monthly close activities, and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and corporate policies across multiple countries in the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare, record and review all monthly accountng transactions
· Responsible for the end-to-end monthly and yearly accounting close
· Issue and record customer invoices
· Support the month-end and year-end closing process
· Coordinating the proper filings of accounting records
· Manage intercompany transactions and monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
· Assist in implementing financial controls and process improvements.
· Provide financial support and analysis to regional management and external auditors and accountants
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
· Professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred.
· 5 years of accounting experience, ideally within a multinational company or shared service center.
· Payroll Processing Experience a plus
· Business trip settlements experience is a plus
· Understanding of generally accepted accounting principals in the EMEA region, at least one local GAAP (e.g. UK, German, Poland).
· ERP system skills (Oracle, or NetSuite preferred).
· Ability to communicate in spoken and written English;
· Strong attention to detail and proactiveness
