Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with solid knowledge of accounting principles and practical experience in managing financial transactions, including advances, expenses, revenues, and account reconciliation. The role requires maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring proper documentation and monitoring of financial activities. The ideal candidate should also be capable of structuring and maintaining an organized chart of accounts.
Requirements
- Record and manage financial transactions, including expenses, revenues, and financial advances
- Monitor and track employee advances and expense settlements
- Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Review and verify financial documents, invoices, and payment records.
- Assist in maintaining and organizing the chart of accounts according to accounting standards.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and internal financial summaries.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
- Assist in identifying discrepancies and resolving accounting issues.
- Coordinate with relevant departments regarding financial documentation and approvals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of practical accounting experience
- Experience managing advances, expenses, and revenue tracking
- Knowledge of account reconciliation and financial auditing basics
- Ability to structure and manage a chart of accounts
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems is preferred.
