Job Description


Our
company is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal
candidate should have a background in accounting, with experience handling all
financial aspects of a company. The accountant will be part of the Accounting
Team assisting in the financial reporting of multiple entities.


Responsibilities as a member of the
Accounting Team:


  • Maintaining
    accurate and up-to-date financial records, including:

    • Accounts
      Payable

    • Accounts
      Receivable

    • Bank
      Reconciliations

    • Daily Activity
      Reports

    • General Ledger
      Entries

  • Assisting in
    the preparation of financial statements and reports, including:

    • Balance Sheets

    • Income
      Statements

    • Cash Flow
      Statements

  • Supporting the
    month-end and year-end close processes, including:

    • Reconciling
      accounts

    • Preparing
      journal entries

  • Assisting in
    monitoring and analyzing financial performance and providing
    recommendations for improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations,
    including GAAP.

  • Assisting with
    the preparation of other financial reports as needed.

  • Collaborating
    effectively with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial
    reporting.


Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an accountant or in a
    similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices,
    including GAAP.

  • Strong QuickBooks experience.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Must be willing to work 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST Timezone

  • Must be open to flexible work hours and statutory holiday alignment - you may be assigned to service customers in different time-zones (US/Canada)
