Job Title - Accountant

A trading company specializing in auto spare parts is looking for an Accountant with experience in the UAE and solid knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)

The position involves working in a friendly, professional team under the supervision of senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain daily accounting records: purchases, sales, bank, petty cash, supplier and employee settlements;
• Record all transactions in FirstBit ERP (FIRATR BIT);
• Prepare and verify primary accounting documents;
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable;
• Participate in the preparation of financial statements under IFRS;
• Assist in audit preparation and corporate tax calculations;
• Understand the principles of Corporate Tax (0% and 9%);
• Basic understanding of FTA VAT requirements (the company is not VAT-registered, but knowledge is required).

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE;
• Strong knowledge of IFRS;
• Experience working with FirstBit ERP;
• Familiarity with Free Zone company accounting (JAFZA, DWC etc.);
• Good command of Microsoft Excel;
• English Intermediate level or higher;
• Detail-oriented, accurate, and able to follow reporting structure.
