Job Description

As our Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial health of our client's company, ensuring compliance with local and federal financial regulations, and helping us make informed decisions that drive growth. Your efforts will provide essential insights and accurate reporting that will directly contribute to strategic planning and financial stability, ultimately enabling us to continue delivering high-quality services and expanding our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations, including VAT and IFRS standards.
• Compile, analyze, and report financial data, preparing key financial statements such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and other financial documents to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with the UAEs Federal Tax Authority (FTA) requirements.
• Assist management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets, financial forecasts, and cost analysis.
• Present financial data to managers, investors, and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Conduct internal audits, identifying discrepancies and resolving them promptly.
• Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, including compliance with UAE labor laws regarding employee benefits.
• Stay updated on changes in UAE tax laws and accounting regulations, ensuring Roadslinks financial practices remain compliant.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience, ideally within the UAE, with strong knowledge of VAT laws and IFRS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and familiarity with accounting software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ethical behavior and ability to handle confidential financial information.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus).
• A professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus.
